Contact form and e-mail

When you contact me through the form or by e-mail, I process the information you provide: your name, e-mail address, topic and message. I use this data only to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare an offer.

Messages from the contact form are sent to me and to Wirz Protection, because assignments are contracted through Wirz Protection. The legal basis is your consent and, if your enquiry leads to an assignment, the preparation of the contract. I keep enquiries only as long as necessary to handle them, unless the law requires a longer retention period.

E-mail delivery

Messages from the contact form are delivered by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), a provider based in the European Union. Brevo processes the data only on my behalf and only to deliver the message.

Appointment booking, payment and online meetings

You book the introductory call and the consultation via Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA). You enter your name, your email address and, where applicable, details about your request. I use this data to prepare and hold the appointment.

You pay for the consultation when booking via PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg). PayPal does not pass your payment details on to me; I only see your name, email address and the amount paid.

Meetings take place online via Google Meet (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, or Google LLC, USA).

Cal.com, PayPal and Google also apply their own privacy policies. Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular the USA. These providers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for this.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Novatrend Services GmbH, Bahnhofstrasse 18, 6340 Baar, Switzerland. According to the provider, data is stored exclusively in Switzerland. When you visit this website, the server automatically stores technical information in log files, for example your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the pages visited, and your browser and operating system. This data is needed to provide the website securely and is deleted after a short period.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics tools. It only stores one small cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your preferred language for up to one year.

When you fill in the contact form, your browser keeps the unsent input in session storage (sessionStorage), so it is not lost if you read this privacy policy in between, for example. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us and is deleted when you send the form or close the tab.

Fonts

All fonts are served from this website's own server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit this website.

This website links to LinkedIn, Upwork, Wirz Protection and Cal.com. When you follow these links, the privacy policies of those websites apply.

Your rights

You can request information about the personal data I hold about you and ask me to correct or delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Just send me an e-mail.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, with your local data protection authority.

Changes

I may update this privacy policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
